We are three weeks away from Jamboree! It is time to check your preparations. Do you know what you are bringing? Do you have your duffel bag and hydration backpack? Other things to check:
1. Logon to the Summit website and check that your medical forms are not in question.
2. If you wanted to go Whitewater Rafting or Rock Climbing off site, is your activity fee paid and have you printed your ticket AND your release form?
3. Do you have two BSA Class A uniforms? Remember, a uniform is a Class A shirt, BSA belt, BSA pants and BSA socks. (The Troop leaders will check with Council about the missing patches and send an email when they are in.)
4. Do you have waterproof, broken in, hiking books that cover your ankles? (Please do not buy brand new boots and wear them the first time at Jamboree. You will get blisters and be very unhappy.)
Do you have questions? Now is the time to ask them. Jamboree should be a fun an challenging experience. We want you to be prepared!
